Tchami burst onto the EDM scene a few years ago, with his signature brand of future house which featured heavy basslines, had lots of wobble, and which borrowed elements of garage and even trap to bring a new angle on the ever-changing house sound. He quickly caught the attention of the industry, and with the help of Diplo, DJ Snake, and a few other big names supporting him, he quickly established himself as a respected name in the industry, and an exciting headliner at festivals everywhere.
I saw him last year at Electric Forest, and he was easily one of my favorite performances of the entire weekend. Since then, he's been pushing his Confession label, and working with other French house artists like Mercer, SAYMYNAME, and the elusive Malaa. Mercer will be joining him in Atlanta, and I can't wait to see these two heavy hitters take the stage together at Terminal West. For the latest on Tchami's ever-evolving sound, check out his 2016 recap video below, which features a new single from the Confession label don, and takes a look back at his very successful 2016.
