America’s #1 DJ and the Dirybird label boss, Claude VonStroke pulled off a stunning array of glitz, glam and bumping beats at his BirdHouse party held at the Delano Hotel pool in Miami Beach during Miami Music Week.
Starting off the day under the beautiful Miami sun, Jesse Rose laid an outstanding musical blueprint for the to-be packed day party. It was instant good vibrations with this crowd. Far from the craze happening at Ultra, champagne was delivered to you on a champagne boat while you relaxed on your flotation device chilling in the pool grooving out to the likes of Honey Dijon and Joris Voorn. The crowd definitely knew how to mix dancing while enjoying the sun, even with the MMW promotional planes flying overhead and lovely bodies dancing around, this musical crowd didn’t miss a dancing beat
Then the rain started, but that didn’t stop the music.
The DJ equipment was protected from the rain by waterproof sheets and an enthused crowd kept the energy high until the water subsided, the light turned into darkness, groove turned into funk and L.E.D. lights from the stage lit up the party. The house was packed and the groove was flowing. People were definitely “Walking in the Rain” – the crowd really had a good time dancing to that track.
Mature music brings a mature crowd, and at no expense did DirtyBird fans not know how to a good time. I know I did. I hope to see the DirtyBird legacy continue at this fabulous venue again next year for MMW2018!
Salutations, Claude VonStroke!
