An Explosion of House Music in ATL: Ralo & Strada

An Explosion of House Music in ATL: Ralo & Strada

As an electronic music enthusiast, it was a total pleasure to attend the Be Real EP release party on June 11 at Alley Cat Music Club. The EP's four masterly crafted tracks filled up the club with soul, groove, and fierce bass sounds that had the house heads dancing throughout the night.

Local DJ and producer, Tito Mazzetta opened the night with a blissful set of deep house and classic house styles. Right after, Elio Stereo took the decks providing complete dance floor satisfaction and leaving the crew ready for Ralo & Strada.

Past 1:30 a.m. the duo composed of Raul Peña (Ralo) and Felix Estrella (Strada) got in the booth and started a house music explosion. Their new material is ear catching and tasteful. The dynamic while they are playing flows easily, projecting a strong connection between the two and their passion for the music.

According to Ralo & Strada, they "got the tracks started by introducing Atlanta hip-hop to Miami booty bass. From two different cities, we hustled to make them come to life with motivational vocals, breakbeats and elements of the old school."

The Be Real EP is composed of four original tracks: "Be Real," "Corner," "Low Ride" and "Jacky." The EP was released under the I’m a House Gangster record label, well-known for being created and owned by DJ Sneak. All of the tracks have a different style, guaranteed to set the dance floor on fire. If you are a house music fan, you must listen to this uplifting compilation.

After four hours of dancing, I went home with a special vibe in my body and with the happiness only good house music brings to my soul. Thanks to these two talented guys for teaming up again in ATL and bringing us such vibrant music.
