Smallpools New Single "Million Bucks" Is Infectious And Addicting

Smallpools, the LA-based indie-pop group, best known for their hit single “Dreaming,” are back with another sure hit. The recently released “Million Bucks” is the lead single to their upcoming August EP The Science of Letting Go, and if this song is any indication, the EP will be a summer sensation.

Within the first couple of listens, “Million Bucks’” infectious chorus and dynamic range had me hooked, and I still can't get enough. This project represents the first official release since their wildly successful debut LP LOVETAP!, and if the rest of the album is on par with this first single, there’ll be no “sophomore slump” for Smallpools.

Fans have seen many modern-disco style songs as the 80s pop revival continues to thrive in 2017, and Smallpools are now making their contribution. The edge that they have, though, is that where many bands have altered their sound drastically to fit in with this new craze, Smallpools have been here all along. It seems that by having the right sound at the right time, Smallpools have the opportunity to take this single and the rest of the album to great heights.
