Be Still My Beating Heart. TLC Have Announced The Release Date For Their New Album And Want Us To Help Name It.
Okay so technically, they want everyone's help in naming it, according to their manager Bill Diggins in a post on TLC's Kickstarter page. But forgive me for getting excited and scribbling down ideas like a madman on the back of receipts while I've got FanMail playing on repeat.
It still feels crazy to believe this is happening but believe it. TLC's got the fan-funded funds to prove it; The classic Atlanta hip-hop act's surviving members, Tionee "T-Boz' Watkins and Rozanda "Chilli" Thomas (R.I.P Left-Eye Lopez), are coming out with a new album, due out on June 30.
It's been whirlwind couple of years since the group first formerly launched their Kickstarter back in January of 2015; a Kickstarter that surpassed its goal of $150,000 in less than 48 hours. Though to be fair, those donations from New Kids On The Block, Katy Perry, Soulja Boy, Bette Midler, and Justin Timberlake, probably had more to do with it then your measly $10. But I'm sure they appreciate you for trying.
In return, according to Diggin's, the next TLC album's title will be fan-voted on. You the fan will have the final say on whatever the album will ultimately end up be calling. Now to be fair, having the nagging doubt that maybe TLC will be inclined to let the people who donate the most to making their new album and subsequent world tour possibly since they initially launched their Kickstarter, have slightly more say then the average donator. (see: your measly $10 donations) but that's no reason to not try! And furthermore no reason for me to not try. To help with the motivation, take a glance bellow at some already rejected titles that I may or may not have submitted. (psst. I totally did)
Possibly TLC Comeback Album Names:
1) Ooooh...Back On The TLC Tip
3) Conceivably Fewer Scrubs Then At First Previously Indicated
4) TC. Just TC. Please Don't Bring Up The L Portion Of This Now, You Downer
And a personal favorite:
